Troy University Adds New Innovation Lab
Earlier this year, Troy University rolled out new exercising bikes for students to study and work out at the same time.
Now, just in time for final exams, students are utilizing more of the university’s newly added technology advances. The university’s library now has an innovation lab called, Lymlab. It’s designed to let students collaborate on presentations at the same time. iPads have also been placed throughout the library, used as card catalogs.
“We’ve gone from maybe having 100 people at any giving moment to 150 to 200 at any given moment. This place has a whole new feel now because it’s being used a lot and it’s a much more pleasant place to come now,” says Chris Schaffer, Dean of Library Services.
University officials say they have received positive feedback from students on their latest advancements.
