Nineteen artists from across the River Region came together Thursday night all in hopes of raising money for a good cause.

Art Splash 2015 kicked off at the The Warehouse in downtown Montgomery.
The artists completed each piece right before the guests eyes within a 90 minute period.
And then two of their art pieces were auctioned off in a silent auction and another one in a live auction.
All proceeds go to Montgomery Christian School.

" For lower income children, every child receives a scholarship and every family participates in their child's education financially. And they are also involved in the curriculum," said Anne Ferrell Rhodes of the Art Splash Committee.

Montgomery Christian School runs kindergarten through 5th grade. The Art Splash is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Alabama News Network was a proud sponsor.
