Children Do Not Have Accurate View of Weight

By Alabama News Network

Nearly one in three American children do not have an accurate view of their own weight.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says about 42% of obese children think they are at the right weight.

About 12% of children who are at a healthy weight think they are too thin or too fat.

Researchers say an accurate perception of one's weight leads to better nutritional choices.
