Doctor's Stethoscope Full of Bacteria

A new study from the Mayo Clinic finds that a doctor's stethoscope has more bacteria on it than the doctor's own hands after a single patient examination.

Doctors know to wash their hands after each exam to prevent the transmission of germs.

Researchers at the Mayo clinic say the same care should be taken for stethoscopes and they should be disinfected after each use.
