Unsaturated Fats Lead to Hypertension

More evidence that a diet rich in unsaturated fats, like olive oil, together with nitrite-rich vegetables can help protect against hypertension.

A new King's College study found combining the fats found in the Mediterranean Diet, such as nuts, olive oil and avocados, with vegetables like spinach, celery and carrots creates a chemical reaction that causes the body to lower blood pressure.
