A new study finds women have a tougher time recovering from heart attacks than men do.

Researchers at the Yale School of Medicine focused on younger patients, between the ages of 30 and 54.

They found that women have longer hospital stays than men.. and women are more likely to die in the hospital after a heart attack.

The study suggests that younger women may benefit from more aggressive control of high blood pressure, obesity and smoking.
