It's Christmas at the Governor's mansion.
Designers from across the state volunteered to decorate the home.
With with trees in each room, each one with their own theme.
"It is absolutely gorgeous. Like a Christmas wonderland. Lot of talented interior designers. Just beautiful with all the lights and colors, especially this tree behidn me. Its absolutely gorgeous," said Jackie Hambrick.
More than 500 Christmas ornaments were sent in by Alabama fourth-grade students and are displayed around the mansion.
"Just glad we could come. This is our first time here. I'm glad they opened it up to the public and we can come and enjoy it," said Janice Box.
Choirs from throughout the state perform each night of the tours as well.
Both the governor's mansion and Hill house next to the mansion are opened for tours.
And it seems guests of all ages enjoyed the evening.
Cameron Rosser says, "it's really pretty and beautiful."
The mansion will be open for candlelight tours from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m the next two Mondays, Dec.9th and 16th.
Tickets for the tours are available free of charge at the gift shop across the street from the mansion prior to the tours each day.
