House In Butler Co. Targeted For Burglary

By Amanda Wade

The Butler County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in a burglary case.

The sheriff says he believes a house on Tulip Road is being targeted. It has been burglarized twice since February. Investigators say nearly $5,000 worth of assorted tools, electronics, hunting, and fishing equipment have been taken from the home.

They say the thieves are breaking locks and damaging windows to get to the property, "It is secluded out here. No one's around it, and there's not a lot of traffic on this road. The person that owns it does not live here. They just visit back and forth up here, so whenever he came in the house had got broken into," says Sheriff, Kenny Harden.

If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call the Butler County Sheriff's Office at 334-382-6521.
