Loud Music Sparks Club Controversy in Rural Dallas Co.

By George McDonald

From the West Alabama Newsroom--  A Dallas County woman says she wants something done about the loud music being played late at night at a bar near her home.

Cassandra Rayford lives a few hundred feet away from the Marion Junction Bar. The club is located out in rural Dallas County -- where there is no noise ordinance.

Rayford says music at the club gets extremely loud -- and can be heard all over the community -- especially at night.

"We cut our TV off, everything is all quiet and its just like its right in the room with us, its right there, like we're right there with them," said Rayford.

She says the situation has her dreading the weekend.
