A Troy resident is behind bars after authorities discover a meth lab and stolen property.

33-year-old Jeremy Cain was arrested after Troy Police and Pike County sheriff's investigators say an ongoing investigation led them to a property off of Highway 29 near Banks.
They say Cain had methamphetamine and a stolen firearm when they responded to his home off County Road 7761.
A meth lab was also discovered, but an investigation is still going on to figure out who owned and operated it.
Cain is being held in jail on $13,500 bond.
He's facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property, and for having a firearm since he is a felon.
