Walker Sworn in on Montgomery Co. Commission

By Alabama News Network

Ronda Walker was sworn in this morning.

Governor Bentley appointed Walker last month to fill the seat left open after Dimitri Polizos was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives.

She says she wants to focus on fiscal conservatism, economic development, and education for Montgomery County.

Walker worked as field representative for Congresswoman Martha Roby, and has worked on the legislative staff of Alabama Senator Richard Shelby.

She says she is looking forward to serving Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Commission has a brand new member.
