Brittany Bivins

Weekend News Anchor/Reporter

Alabama News Network weekend anchor Brittany Bivins is a Chilton County native. Before moving to the anchor desk in 2013, she reported from our Troy Newsroom.

Brittany came to us from Shreveport, Louisiana, where she spent a year at the Fox affiliate.

Before that, she was an on-air intern for WOIL in Sylacauga, where she reported for the daily morning show. While in college, she also interned with ABC 33/40 in Birmingham and Alabama Public Television.

She is a graduate of the University of Montevallo, where she was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity. She received a double major in Mass Communication and Theatre, with a minor in Spanish. One of the most exciting experiences of Brittany's college career was spending part of the summer studying in Spain, where she learned to speak conversational Spanish fluently.

In Brittany's spare time, she loves traveling, reading great books, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and spending time with her family, friends and very spoiled mini-dachshund. She is excited to be covering Troy and telling the stories that matter to you. Brittany loves meeting new people, so please feel free to contact her with your story ideas or just to say hello!
