Alabama's Walk to Cure Autism

Hundreds of people took a walk for a purpose today, to work towards a cure for autism.

The Autism Society of Alabama's Walk to Cure Autism is part of Autism Awareness month.
More than 300 people showed up at Ida Bell Young Park.

It's part of a month long slate of events to encourage awareness, raise money for research and teach people about the disorder.

There are about 300 children with Autism enrolled in Montgomery Public Schools.
