Reverse Tiger Walk planned in Montgomery

By Alabama News Network

The Montgomery Regional Airport and the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce are planning a big send-off for the Auburn University football team, band and support staff.

They are inviting fans to the airport for a Reverse Tiger Walk at 10 a.m. Tuesday when the team arrives at the airport to travel to the BCS National Championship in Pasadena, Calif.
The chamber says the Reverse Tiger Walk will be along the fence line to the west of the main terminal. Paid parking will be available in the airport parking lots.
The event is patterned after the Tiger Walk that occurs when large crowds of fans greet the Auburn team as it walks from Sewell Hall to Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.
