Swimming Pool Survival

By Brittany Bivins

It's the kind of story no one wants to hear, but every year, thousands of people drown. Some of them are young children who can't swim. But what if there was a way to teach even very young children how to save themselves?

It's a video that caught our attention, a video that seems certain to end tragically, spelling out a scenario that's claimed hundreds of children's lives in their own backyards. It shows a toddler, barely old enough to walk, plunging into their backyard pools.

But then, when the worst seems inevitable, something incredible happens.

Watch the video for the reaction from parents and what it can mean for your child.
