Montgomery police have made arrests in the city's 46th homicide of the year.

Walter Miles and Antonio Middleton has been charged with capital murder and attempted murder.

Police say Miles and Middleton are brothers.

The charges are in connection to the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Ricky Farris of Montgomery and the wounding of another man.

Police responded to the 3200 block of Otis Lane shortly after midnight on December 16 where they found Farris and another victim with gunshot wounds.

Both were taken to a hospital where Farris died.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute over a stolen handgun.
