Chambliss Wins District 30 State Senate Seat Runoff

Prattville City Council member Clyde Chambliss Jr. has defeated businessman Harris Garner in the Republican runoff for Alabama Senate District 30.

The seat is currently held by Prattville Sen. Bryan Taylor, who is not seeking re-election. No Democrat is running for the position.

With 84 percent of the precincts of reporting Tuesday night, Chambliss had 63 percent to Garner's 37 percent.
