Family, Friends of Missing Fisherman Hold Vigil

By Ellis Eskew

Family and friends of a missing fisherman in Autauga County gathered for a vigil Monday night.

David Taylor has been missing for a week.
His friends and family gathered near the pond where he went missing in Autaugaville.
They prayed and sang.. holding on to hope that he is still alive.
But mostly, just wanting some sort of answer to their questions.

"We the family are really looking for some closure so we can give him a proper whatever he may need. We're just hoping everything will work out through these prayers," said Taylor's sister Denise Taylor.

David Taylor's truck and tacklebox were found near by.
And an upside down canoe and boot were found in the water.
Friday, several cadaver dogs hit on the same spot in the water.

They tell us they may bring in another cadaver dog or pump water from the lake soon.
