Montgomery Police Warn Against Debit Card Scam

By Alabama News Network

Montgomery police want you to be aware of a debit card scam.

They say people are posing as police officers and calling people demanding payment to avoid arrest.
Police say the scammers tell people to get a reloadable debit card and provide the card number so they can collect payment, and that an arrest warrant will be issued if payment is not made.
If you receive this type of call, report it to police.
