"Stars on the Riverfront" Preview

Dancers with the Alabama Dance Theatre perfect their choreography at the Riverwalk Amphitheater Friday evening.
They have dedicated themselves to this perfomance for the past two weeks.

"A lot of rehearsals, classes with wonderful teachers, and then more rehearsals," said dancer Noah Hart.

The 11th annual "Stars on the Riverfront" promises something for everyone.

"We give you a little bit of everything, a great deal of diversity in our repetoire. You'll see a little bit of everything. You'll see the classic. You'll see the contemporary. You'll see the modern. You'll see something with a little jazz to it. So I think we have a little something for everyone," said Ballet Master Foye DuBose.

Performances are free to the public and will be held Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 6:00. Picnics are encouraged, but no alcoholic beverages.

Alabama News Network Chief Meteorologist Ashley McDonald will be the emcee for the event.
