Greenville Elementary Students Sing Katy Perry's "Roar"

By Catalina Trivino

One teacher at Greenville Elementary School is bringing music to his students...

They're known as the "Tiger Notes" -- a group of 24 third and fourth students who stay after school to get a taste of music.

They're singing Katy Perry's "Roar" in this video and rehearsing for upcoming performances this year.

The choir was put together by teacher, Donald Rucker, who says because the school does not have any electives it's his chance to get his students exposed to music.
At the end of the song, all the kids gathered around to thank him for all of his work.
