Second Annual Christian Music Fest Tonight In Troy

The second annual Christian Music Fest is coming to Troy. 

Doors open Friday at 5 p.m. first act will go on at 5:30 p.m. at Pike County Cattleman's Complex.

There will be four different groups play and sing- The Least, a contemporary band out of Mobile, Skylar Dixon, former American Idol contestant, Anointed Ministries out of Jack, Alab., Love and the Outcome will be on last. 

Brian Mclendon, youth leader at Springhill Baptist Church said, "We want to reach as many people as we can. Tell them about God and everything he does for us. We can go as far as we want to to reach people but there are people in our neighborhoods- it's amazing to see how many kids have never prayed before...we want to pass on the good news." 

Mclendon will speak at 7:30. The event is free. Mclendon said thanks to local support the whole event is already paid for.
