Teenager Arrested For Allegedly Breaking Into ATM

 An 18-year-old is behind bars after allegedly trying to break into an ATM with a crow bar.  

Union Springs Police said Stanley Davis Junior causes thousands of dollars in damages at the Community Bank and Trust just after 7 Monday night.
Police said he took a crow bar to an ATM, then pried open the door to try to get to the money from inside. That set off an alarm and within minutes police responded and took the suspect into custody. 
Clarence Wheeler, Union Springs Police Chief said, "Well it'll make the community feel safer knowing that they don't have a criminal on the loose out there so make them feel pretty good. 
Stanley Davis Junior is being held in the county jail on $100,000 bond. He's been charged with 2nd degree burglary, 1st degree criminal mischief, and altering a firearm. Police said he was carrying a gun with the serial number scratched out.
