Triple Murder Case Moves Forward in Lowndes Co.
From the West Alabama Newsroom-- Triple murder suspect Deandre Lee was back in court Friday in Lowndes County.
Circuit Judge Terri Bozeman-Lovell is expected to rule on the motions in about a week.
Lee is facing six counts of capital murder in the shooting deaths of 9-year-old twins Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett and 73-year-old, Jack Girdner.
"Once a month we have arguments on various motions that are filed either by the state or by the defense," said Lowndes Co. District Attorney Charlotte Tesmer. "It makes both the state and the defense kind of keep moving towards that trial date."
Lee is set to go on trial in April.
