Wilcox County Receiving Grant Money For Economic Development

Over $311,000 will go to the Wilcox County Industrial Development Authority.

They will use the money to buy land to help facilitate the development of Golden Dragon Copper facility.

Golden dragon will be built in Pine Hill.

It will provide 300 to 500 jobs once in operation.

Other areas receiving grant money are Fort Deposit and Mosses.

The grants are being funded by the Delta Regional Authority.



Governor Robert Bentley has awarded grants to help create jobs and improve the economy in Alabama's Black Belt.
