Kids with Autism at Risk for Stomach Problems

A University of California study finds kids with autism are up to 8 times more likely to have stomach problems.

Researchers say these children are often sensitive to food and can regularly suffer from upset stomach, constipation and diarrhea.

Doctors aren’t sure why there is a link but believe decreasing gastro-intestinal problems in autistic children may decrease behavioral problems.
