Head Trauma Can Lead to Alzheimer’s

A small British study finds people who suffer a traumatic brain injury are more likely to have plaque deposits in their brains.

Those deposits can increase the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Researchers looked at 15 people who suffered head trauma.

They say the plaque starts to appear just hours after the injury and is seen in patients of all ages.
