Color Me Chi O

Saturday, November 16, the Montevallo community is invited to participate in the Tau Kappa chapter‘s 1st ever “Color Me Chi O” color run. This is a perfect opportunity to get together with friends and family to help Chi Omega make a difference through an exciting event. Proceeds from the color run will go to Make-A-Wishone space® Alabama to support the granting of wishes for Alabama children with life-threatening illnesses. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. on the University of Montevallo Campus. Day of registration will open at 7 a.m. or there is an option to mail in a pre-registration form by contacting Philanthropy Chair, Emily Morrow, at emorrow1@forum.montevallo.edu. Along with the 3.1 mile run/walk, there will be food, door prizes and fun to be had. The general registration fee will be $20 however students may register for only $15. When the alliance between Chi Omega and Make-A-Wish began, the goal was to have both collegiate and alumnae chapters become involved in the volunteering and fundraising for the organization and to assist in the granting of wishes to these courageous kids. The fraternity continues to achieve this goal at increasing levels each year.
