Drinking Milk May Not Be Good for Your Bones Later in Life

Teenagers are often told to drink milk for healthy bones, but researchers say it apparently does not lower the chance of a hip fracture later in life.

A study published in JAMA Pediatrics found higher milk consumption may lead to taller height and that may in fact increase the risk of hip fracture for men.

Doctors say teenage milk drinking does not seem to increase hip fracture risk in women.
