Montgomery has a Chance to be Recognized for a National Honor

Montgomery has a chance to be recognized for a national honor. Montgomery is one of 25 cities selected from nominations be become an all-american city. The competition, put on by the National Civic League, spotlights three community-driven projects in each city’s application. This year the competition focuses on health-related projects, with Eat South, the River Region Health Clinic, and the River Regional Obesity Task Force as the projects chosen. The top ten list will be announced in June.
