Fun at the C. Mac Johnson Farmers Market

Hundreds of people had some old fashion fun this morning at one of Montgomery’s Farmer’s Markets.

The 44th Annual C. Mac Johnson Farmer’s market was held today at the Montgomery State Farmers Market location.  It Featured some of the state’s best homegrown produce and tons of fun for everybody. Among the many exciting events planned was a watermelon eating Contest, live music,  craft vendors, pony rides, and much more.

The event honored the late C. Mac Johnson, a driving force in the development of the State Farmers Market in 1971.
