Newest Volunteer of the Year, Beth Birchfield, is the youngest recipient ever at the age of 16. She was recognized for her long history of work in missions projects. Birchfield’s parents operate an orphanage in Haiti, and she hopes to take it over one day.

Birchfield is humbled to receive the honor, saying “it’s really just pointing it all to Christ. [I thank] God that he allows us to be a part of his great work.”
