The City’s Plan to Help Lessen Congestion on Ann Street

One of the busiest streets in Montgomery is almost ready to change.

The city is planning to widen Ann Street and shift the intersection so it goes straight into Federal Drive.

Right now it hits Madison Avenue and causes a lot of congestion.

The two phase project should cost around 2.5 million dollars, paid for by the department of transportation.

It’s something that’s been on the city’s agenda for years, but was harder than expected.
