MPD’s investigation indicates the driver drove a 2004 GMC Yukon into the apartment at a high rate of speed in an attempt to strike the subject with whom he had been arguing.
The subject was uninjured, but the child, Aiden Howard was struck and received life threatening injuries.
Howard was later pronounced dead on Sunday, Feb. 22 at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham where he had been receiving treatment after having been critically injured on Feb. 12.
