From the West Alabama Newsroom–  There’s a unique outreach ministry brewing at a church in Selma — designed to help the church connect with the community.

Crosspoint Christian Church has been operating a full service coffee shop and cafe at the church for about a year.

Crosspoint Cafe offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere — free wi-fi — and a fresh cup of coffee — to any and everyone.

Church leaders say its a unique way to interact with the community — outside of Sunday service.

“The vision behind us doing this and the heart behind it was just to give us an opportunity to connect with people in the community and them to even check us too,” said Administrative Pastor, Rev. Mark Andrews.

Crosspoint Cafe is open from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday.
