Troy Police Arrest Second Person for Fatal Shooting

Troy Police arrest a second person involved in a fatal shooting that killed a 19-year-old in Troy on Friday, November 27th.

Officers say the second arrest was made in Troy on December 1st. They are unable to provide additional information about the arrest due to the person’s age.

20-year-old Leon Terrell Flowers was also charged for the shooting. Officers say they responded to the shooting shortly after 9 p.m in the 400 block of North Knox Street.

After arriving, officers found the victim fatally shot in the parking lot. On November 29th, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department took Flowers into custody. He was later brought back to the Pike County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Officers are still investigating the shooting.
