Alabama Fans Travel Differently
Alabama News Network Flies To Arizona To The National Championship And Meets Fans With Interesting Story
Glendale, AZ — The Alabama News Network team set out just like Alabama and Clemson fans finding ways to the game, with costs high and limited time to plan following New-Year’s wins.
On our flight to Phoenix we saw several Crimson Tide and Tiger faithful, but most are expect to travel this weekend.
Alabama fans Jack and Lisa Windham, and their kids, flew down for an entire week because it was just as cheap as coming for a few days, as travel and hotel costs rise closer to gameday,
But they will be cheering for Clemson a little too. They are from Gainesville, Georgia where Clemson Quarterback Deshaun Watson played high school football.
Fans like the Windham family will find their own way of enjoying the championship trip, while hundreds of staff workers prepare hotels, restaurants and venues for the incoming wave of college football fans.
