Super Bowl Champion; Former Troy Trojan Demarcus Ware Not Done Yet
After winning Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panther, the main question everyone wanted to know was if Peyton Manning would call it quits or come back for one more season.
That same question could be asked to Denver’s All-Pro defensive end, Demarcus Ware.
After winning the Super Bowl, many speculated that Ware would call it quits and retire from the league. That is not the case for the 33-year old Ware.
“I’ve got a lot of gas in the tank. Von (Miller) was the one that added that gas to that fire for me. That’s why I’m playing the way that I’m playing right now. I don’t think about retiring. God still wants me to play. That’s why I’m doing what I’m doing. When I start bringing the cane out, you guys make sure that you tell me, ‘DeMarcus, it’s time to hang the cleats up'”.
Ware recorded two sacks and five tackles in the big game.
Ware will be entering his 12th NFL Season.
