Restoration of Some Montgomery Roads Begin

road-work123r.gifThe City of Montgomery began the process of repaving and restoring portions of Carter Hill Road from College Street to Zelda Road on March 1.

Motorists should expect travel delays beginning March 14 as planned improvements will affect all lanes throughout this process. Officials ask residents to obey all detour and flag signaling and exercise caution in road work zones.

The improvements come as part of the city’s plan to repave nearly 170 miles of roadway, after restoring more than 125 miles last year.

The project includes Carter Hill Road, Narrow Lane Road and Fairview Avenue.
