Tuskegee Track & Field resumes this weekend
TUSKEGEE, Ala. (goldentigersports.com) — After 13 days off, the Tuskegee University track and field programs return to action this weekend at the Emory Invitational hosted at Woodruff PE Center. The meet begins on Friday (March 18) and runs through Saturday (March 19).
The meet is set to start at 2:00 pm on Friday with the field events, beginning with the men’s and women’s hammer throw. On Saturday, the meet will kick off bright and early at 8:20 am with women’s unseeded 1500m and will run all day until the men’s and women’s 4x400m Relay at 4:55 pm and 5:20 pm.

Competing at the Emory Invitational along with the Eagles will be Agnes Scott, Albany State, Albion, Augusta University, Berea, Berry, Birmingham-Southern, Bob Jones, Brenau, Brewton-Parker, Campbellsville, Capital, Clark Atlanta, Clayton State, Columbus St., Covenant, Emmanuel (Ga.), Fisk, GC&SU, Hope, Jacksonville St., Kennesaw State, Kentucky State, Kentucky Wesleyan, Lee (Tenn.), Life, Lincoln Memorial, Methodist, Miles, Mobile, Montevallo, Oglethorpe, Paine, Piedmont, Reinhardt, Rowan, SCAD Atlanta, Shorter, Spring Hill, Tennessee Wesleyan, Tuskegee, Voorhees, West Georgia, and Wittenberg.
The Golden Tigers are coming off an appearance in their last meet in which they set a pair of meet records, one in the throws by Vincent Williams and the other by the 4x400m relay team at the Victor Ice Breaker Duals two weeks ago. Several student-athletes will be in competition this weekend for Tuskegee, and those can be found on the heat sheets on the links above.
