Alabama Medieval Fantasy Festival Draws Hundreds

FANTASYFESTIVALHundreds of people spent the weekend in Greenville at the Alabama Medieval Fantasy Festival.

The festival is a step back in time, leaving the 21st Century behind. Festival goers wore their favorite medieval costumes. Vendors, rides, and jousting knights entertained the crowd. People attending say the festival is a great event to unplug and rewind from today’s society.

“Every now and again you just need to leave the cell phone and the laptop and come out and spend some imd actually speaking with other humans,” says Nancy Ardoin.

This was the the inaugural weekend for the festival. It served as a preview of the grand opening for next year.
