TROY, Ala (troytrojans.com) – Troy University head coaches and athletic administrators will hit the road again this summer (May 31 – June 16) and trek across the Southeast for Trojan Tour ’16, brought to you by Guardian Credit Union. The fourth annual Trojan Tour will feature seven stops over six days in two states.
Featured guests on Trojan Tour ’16 will include Athletic Director Jeremy McClain, football head coach Neal Brown, women’s basketball coach Chanda Rigby, baseball coach Mark Smartt and additional Troy head coaches. “Voice of the Trojans” Barry McKnight will serve as the emcee at each stop.
This marks the first year Guardian Credit Union has partnered with Troy to sponsor the Trojan Tour. As a direct result, Trojan Tour admission prices have been lowered and additional prize giveaways are planned at each stop.
Trojan Tour ’16 will make stops in Birmingham, Greenville, Montgomery, Dothan, Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach after leading off at home at the Stadium Club in Troy.
Fans will also be able to keep up with the tour stops on all of Troy’s social media outlets – on Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram at TroyAthletics.
Each of the tour stops will allow fans the opportunity to interact with Trojan head coaches and administrators, in addition to hearing the latest about Troy Athletics. Each tour stop will also include give-a-ways, autographs and the ability to purchase season tickets for Troy’s 2016 football season.
Veterans Memorial Stadium will host the Trojan Tour Kickoff on Tuesday, May 31, at 5:30 p.m., before the tour hits the road with a stop in Birmingham on June 7. Trojan Tour ’16 wraps up on Thursday, June 16, with stops in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach.
