Montgomery Holds Vigil for Slain Dallas Police Officers

The City of Montgomery held a vigil Friday to show support for the Dallas Police Department.

The vigil was held at First Baptist church at noon. The church is across the street from the Montgomery Police Department Headquarters.

There were multiple police officers and members of the fire department in attendance.

Mayor Todd Strange says the vigil was one way to show support for public safety officers in Montgomery and across the country.
