Standard Summer Alabama Weather
FOR TUESDAY: Not much change in the forecast, a mix of sun and clouds, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in the heat of the day. Once again, a few storms could be strong and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning can be expected as with any typical summertime thunderstorm. Highs will once again be in the lower to mid 90s.
WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: Little change, but the upper low will slowly open up and dissipate, and showers and storms will thin out a bit later this week. Heat levels rise a bit, with mid 90s for the second half of the week. It’s the standard July forecast; partly sunny, hot, humid, conditions with the threat of scattered, mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: A persistence forecast is best with little to no change in this summer pattern. Hot, humid days, a partly sunny sky, and a passing shower or storm each afternoon in scattered spots, each day highs will range in the lower to mid 90s, while nights will be fair and muggy with lows in the mid-70s.
