Man Dies in Crash Shortly After Shooting into Ex-Girlfriend’s House
An Alabama man is accused shooting at his ex-girlfriend’s house before he was involved in a fatal crash.
Perry County Sheriff Billy Jones says Samuel West drove by the woman’s house twice Tuesday night, firing shots into her residence.
Jones says that same vehicle ended up in an accident not far from the home. Authorities didn’t find the car until Wednesday morning because it was in a wooded area.
Alabama State Police say a passenger, identified as 28-year-old Mario Philenta Farley of Centreville, was found dead at the scene.
West was found outside the vehicle and taken to the hospital.
Jones says West will be charged with shooting into an occupied building upon his release from the hospital.
He says the crash remain under investigation.
