Spencer Collier Says Rebekah Mason Shouldn’t be Allowed to Delay Case

SecretaryCollierAlabama News Network has new court documents relating to the case involving the former secretary of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Spencer Collier. He’s filed a lawsuit saying he was wrongfully fired from his job.

In the latest documents, Collier’s attorney says defendant Rebekah Mason should not be allowed to delay the case. Collier’s attorney does say Mason can choose to remain silent and not provide discovery evidence.

The documents suggest that Mason may be the subject of a criminal investigation, in addition to this civil suit.

She was an adviser to Governor Robert Bentley to which Bentley has admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with her.
