Tuskegee volleyball works on ball control

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (goldentigersports.com) —  After concentrating on ball-handling drills through the first two days of camp, the Tuskegee University volleyball team moved to team drills on Monday.

The team, just days before classes start, worked on fine-tuning their ball-handling through the first few moments of practice before moving to team work.

Tuskegee focused on more on team needs, including ball control. The team also focused on team and team defense, and the system they will use this season.

Tuskegee will continue with fall camp through Wednesday, before classes begin on the campus Thursday. The team opens the season at home in the first annual Spikefest at Chappie James Arena. The tournament kicks off at 8 am on Friday, September 2 with Tuskegee playing the first match.

Season tickets are on sale in the Ticket Office by calling (334) 727-8594 or (334) 724-4385.

Tickets are also on sale in the ticket office, and online via Ticketmaster, for the 5th Quarter Classic.
