Greenville Woman Arrested Twice in 24 Hour Span
A woman arrested and charged for taking money from the car dealership where she worked has been arrested again.
Hope Gibson Langston, 31, was charged with theft of property after police say she made several unauthorized charges to Greenville Motor Company. Langston was arrested again this morning after going back to the car dealership to collect her belongings.
She was told she must have a police escort in order to do so.
Police say they were notified by management at Greenville Motor Company back in May about possible fraudulent activity and internal theft.
After a three month long audit, they uncovered numerous unauthorized charges made to the company’s account.
They say the thefts happened over a nearly nine month period.
She was given a $3,000 bond and placed on house arrest.
