Lee High School Students Remember 911 Terrorist Attacks

remember911As time goes by, it could be easy for students who were born after September 11, 2001 to not realize the impact that tragic event had on America and the world.

That’s one reason the Air Force JROTC at Lee High School in Montgomery held a flag ceremony.  The whole school attended the event honoring the victims and heroes of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks. Songs were sung by the school’s choir and the school’s JROTC Commander gave a motivational speech.

Isaiah Trammell is a Cadet Captain in Robert E. Lee’s AFJROTC.

“Without them, this country wouldn’t be together. This is all about us being as one nation and so that help bring us together and this is how we remember them. I hope we continue this process,” Trammell said.

The Air Force JROTC at Robert E. Lee holds this flag ceremony every year.
