Troy volleyball has “Natural State” matchups this weekend

TROY, Ala. (  – The Troy volleyball team travels to Little Rock and Arkansas State for a pair of weekend matchups. The Trojans face Little Rock on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and will battle Arkansas State on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Troy (6-18, 0-7 Sun Belt) looks to snap a season-long 14-match losing streak. The Trojans had two four set matches and one five set match last week.

•  Logan Page has continued her strong play and has had three consecutive matches with double-digit kills.

•  Against Georgia State, Bethany Cullity recorded 17 digs in the match, which is a career-high for the freshman.

•  Little Rock (8-13, 4-4 Sun Belt) has won two matches in a row on the road at ULM and UL Lafayette. The Trojans lead the Sun Belt in blocks averaging 3.02 per set.


  •  Arkansas State (15-7, 7-1 Sun Belt) has won three straight matches against Sun Belt opponents with its only loss to Texas State. The Red Wolves sit atop the Sun Belt west division and won the 2015 Sun Belt Championship.
